Total Family Dentistry has completely changed the way I feel about going to the dentist. Every staff member I have met from the front desk to dental assistants have been extremely personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. It makes all the difference! I struggle with somewhat serious anxiety and Dr. Stampelos put my anxiety at ease from the very start while providing great work. Dr. Joanna has been nothing short of amazing, continuing the fantastic work and personable environment. Truly could not be happier with the customer focus and consistent high quality work!

Dr. Joanna is so compassionate and talented. she takes so much time to explain everything and goes above and beyond to get coverage for dental procedures, She really cares about her patience, genuinely and has the absolute best patient care. I highly recommend her to everyone, especially patients who are nervous as she is so sweet, comforting, and goes above and beyond to meet your dental needs.

Dr. Joanna Stampelos is truly one of a kind!! She is so personable, knowledgeable and caring. The passion that she has for her profession & her patients radiates in the room!! The entire staff at TFD was phenomenal! I am extremely sensitive when it comes to my teeth, but Dr. Joanna was amazing! My experience with Total Family Dentistry has been the same since my first appointment in 1994. Always professional and personable, consistent and confident, Dr. Gus and now Dr. Joanna are absolutely the best in what they do. I have always felt comfortable going there from the very beginning and still do. Their office staff is always accommodating and welcoming. They are a dynamite team and I truly believe that they wholeheartedly take great pride in their profession and it shows. After all, 29 years alone should speak for itself.

Absolutely phenomenal people, from the girls at the desk and the girls who learn your teeth to the doctors at the practice. The leadership of Dr. Stampelos is amazing. Love this office so much!

Best dentist appointment I've encountered. Dr. Joanna makes you comfortable and let’s you know exactly what to expect. As part of my appointment had chipped tooth fixed and she did such a great job no one can tell which tooth. Still have more work to be done. Recommend this office.

The best of the best! Two amazing dentists. Dr. Stampelos has been the only dentist I’ve ever felt comfortable with. He always goes above and beyond for his patients and puts his heart into everything he does! Dr. Joanna is so knowledgeable and compassionate .. always making sure her patients have quality care. Total Family Dentistry changed my life today! I was born with a cleft lip and palate, and have always had problems with my teeth. I did not have my #10 adult tooth and my teeth grew in crooked; and I had braces for 10 years! I was not confident with my smile and always tried not to. Today I cried leaving TFD’s office knowing my smile is beautiful and something I can be proud of. Dr. Stameplos, and his team are the kindest, most warm hearted people I have ever met. They are also experts in their craft. I have never felt so comfortable in a dentists chair and trust them completely. I will be forever thankful for Dr. Stampelos and his team.

Dr. Joanna Stampelos was professional, polite, and thorough during my semi-annual checkup at Total Family Dentistry of St. James. I would not let anybody else examine my teeth. My family and I have about ten years of experience visiting Total Family Dentistry... and have been seen by almost every staff member on site. We’ve had nothing but excellent service experience from each and everyone. We’ve had all kinds of dental work done here without any issues! We’ve recommended to our friends and extended family... and they all are very greatly appreciative for recommending and extremely happy with their experience... Dr. Gus and Dr. Baker which we’ve mostly visited are amazing people always putting a lot of effort into their work. And the hygienist all have great personalities and love their job!

It makes me sad that others have had a bad experience but my experience has been excellent. In fact so good that my wife switched after me and we send our daughter there too. The dental hygienist is the best I have ever had and even has you bring in your toothbrush and she’ll help you figure out if you’re missing spots when you brush and other tips. Her personality is great and she truly loves her job, and you can tell. My family does not have any major dental problems so our experience with the dentist is limited to standard checkup stuff. But the hygienist is 1 in a million!

The only Dental practice that I would ever let examine my teeth. Everybody there is polite, professional and makes you feel at ease. 5/5 every time!
